Southern Upland Borders Trek
A guided trek across the wild, empty hills of the Southern Uplands, Scotland's least-walked range.
About this trip
The Southern Uplands are Scotland's forgotten hills — vast, rounded, grassy ranges crossed by few paths and even fewer people. Over five guided days we trek through their heart around Moffat and the Ettrick hills, taking in tumbling waterfalls, remote bothies and huge, lonely skies.
With a mountain leader, four nights' accommodation, all transport and most meals included, this is a trek for fit walkers who value solitude over crowds. Expect pathless ground, big mileage and the rare pleasure of having a whole range to yourself.
