Glencoe Ridge Scramble

Tackle the notorious Aonach Eagach, mainland Britain's narrowest ridge, roped up with a mountain guide.

About this trip

The Aonach Eagach is the finest and most serious ridge scramble on the British mainland — a knife-edge traverse of pinnacles and exposed steps high above Glencoe, with no easy escape once committed. Roped up with a qualified mountain guide, you'll move across it safely while soaking up some of the most heart-stopping situations in the country.

Technical equipment, a thorough safety briefing and one night's accommodation are included. This is strictly for confident scramblers with a strong head for heights — the guide keeps the margins safe, but the exposure is real.

What's included

  • Qualified mountain guide
  • Ropes & helmets
  • 1 night accommodation
